Completion of Certified Clerk Training.

Carolyn Wiliams, Superior Court Clerk of Pike County has been awarded the certificate of completion from the Carl Vinson Institute of Government for successful completion of the Superior Court Clerks' Certificate program at its annual Spring conference at St. Simons Island on April 23, 2007.
To receive the certificate, clerks must attend and successfully complete the ten required courses and two elective courses which represent 120 hours of classroom training related to the Office of Superior Court Clerk, and complete a projest paper which demonstrates what they have learned and how they will apply the knowledge to their office.
To keep the certificate current, clerks participating in the program are required to complete six hours of continuing education each year. This requirement will be met by participating in an annual update class of six hours.
